Help sexing please

    Well, I think you have three cockerels there. All three have developing combs. Let's see what others have to say.

    The barred rock was sexed as a female the other two were not. My luck to get three boys and I can only have girls in the city limits [​IMG]

    How old are they, the BR has dark barring - males are usually lighter like gray with wider white bands. Not written in stone but, generally accurate. Age could make a difference because of comb development.

    Barred rock sexing only works if they are purebred. It is possible that it is a crossbreed or it is a female! Hold onto them and let us know what they turn out to be

    I'll tentatively say three cockerels (that last one is for sure) but I think we could benefit from better photos of the Barred chick.

    The comb defines if they are roosters? I have new chickens (estimated 8-10 weeks old) and some already have combs.
    Attached is one that was majorly picked on before their arrival and is one of the smallest. This one is a bit "forward". Rooster?
