HELP!!Should I Candle or Not? Cover the wire or leave it?

I'm on day 24!!!!! STILL NADA

Still no pips and no peeps. Should I candle them tonight to see if they've broke into the air sack? And while I'm at it lay down a paper towel on the wire? This is my first hatch and I am dying with stress!!!! I want them to have the best chance. Any other suggestions? Please!

What day are you on? We didn't cover the wire as it helped give the chicks some footing so they don't slip as easy and have problems with the legs.
