HELP! Something stuck to chicks tounge!!!

I have a 2 week old Dominique chick, and I just noticed her running around the brooder like she had something and the two other babies wanted it. I saw she was having trouble eating whatever it was. So I scooped her up to see what she had, and I found something stuck to the end of her tounge. I have no idea what it is. I thought at first it was a tick...but it's not. It's round, hard, and black. I've tried pulling it off, but I can't, and I don't want to pull her tounge out! What do I do?????

Bump for you. thats interesting. I ahve a chick with a black spot in its mouth but it doesnt seem to bother it. Id be curious to know whas this is.

do you have a magnifier glass? You need to see it if is part of the tongue, a growth on the tongue, or some foreign object like a bit of metal with a sharp pin that is stuck to the tongue.
