HELP! Terravet via oral syringe?

Help! Is there anyway we can give Terravet via oral syringe to a rooster? He is showing signs of upper respiratory infection - sneezing, hoarse crow etc. but so far none of our hens are showing signs. I would like to only treat him with with the Terravet. What dosage would I give a full dosage size Salmon Faverolle Rooster via oral syringe. I know that 6.4oz packet make 25 gallons (at the 400 mg dose) so 1.5 gallon of water would take .4 oz. What is the recommended dosage per day for a chicken.

Looks like according to this article it is 1.5 tablespoons per gallon.

Yes but I was curious if you could give it via syringe....not by the gallon
