My chicken Tweeter has been wanting to hatch eggs for 5 years now. Going broody every year, hoping her eggs will hatch. We don't have a rooster, so it's not possible. Tweeter has been booted out of the nesting box multiple times, so i am deciding to give her a chance!
I put 4 duck eggs under Tweeter this past week. But, there are people who don't want them there. We have a person who wants baby ducks, and plenty of room for 2 more ducks.

Vote in the poll, help Tweeter!

I think you could let her. Older hens typically have more maturity and patience, plus better developed instincts, so I bet she'd be a great mama.
