HELP! URGENT!MY CHICK KEEPS COUGHING WHAT CAN I DO?

Hello my 2 6 week old Belgian Bantams have been making a strange coughing noise and i don't know what it is, it has been really cold around where i live and i have fed them grain and i ran out of chick starter so i gave them pullet grower please help!

I am not sure but I have read that chickens can get respratory infections. It may be worth a call to the vet.

im going to try a hot water bottle and some vapour rub if not better by the morning i will ask a vet

..the grain and pullet starter size might be too big for them and is getting stuck in their throats... post at the EZ BYC forum location and ask WES what he thinks

Is it possible they are trying to crow or cluck? They are about the age where they will make choking farting noises as their voices change.

i don't think so. i have never heard that noise before until a few weeks ago when i lost one with the same symptoms
