Some of you know that we are putting together a Chicken ID list that will help people here figure out what their chick/chicken is by pictures and other info.

We will pick a winner from all pictures submitted and they will win a new car!! Ok, not really - we just need your help.

We really need everybodys help with this project. There is a link in my signature line to give you the 'rules' and what we are looking for in pictures so we can have things as uniform as possible.

Here are the breeds that we still need people to help us with:

Brahma Bantam - all colors, both sexes
    Delaware - both sexes
    Favorelle - pullet
    Frizzle - both sexes
    Modern Game - both sexes
    Rhode Island Red - pullet
    Sussex - roo
    Wyandotte (Golden laced) - pullet
    Australorp - both sexes
    Plymouth Rock - both sexes
    EE - both sexes
    Jersey Giant - pullet
    Polish - both sexes
    Welsummer - roo
    Cornish - both sexes
Cornish Cross (broiler) - both sexes
    Hamburg - both sexes
    Leghorn - both sexes
    Naked Neck - both sexes
    Orpington (Blue) - both sexes
Sex-link (Black and Red) - both sexes

We also need pictures of eggs from the following breeds:

    Brahma
    Brahma bantam
    Delaware
    Favorelle
    Frizzle
    Modern Game
    Rhode Island Red
    Sussex
    Wyandotte
    Australorp
    Plymouth Rock
    EE
    Jersey Giant
    Welsummer
    Cochin
    Cornish
    Cornish Rock
    Naked Neck
    New Hampshire
    Orpington
    Black Sex-link
    Silkie
    Andalusian

If you can please use a ruler in the picture to show the size of the egg that would be helpful.

If you have pictures that qualify of any breed that I haven't listed please send it in for us also since some pictures will be clearer or better than others and we want to use the best ones.

These pictures are fantastic! Thanks so much, keep them coming ... HOWEVER ... we do need to know the ages of the chicks/chickens in all pictures and (if you know) whether it's a pullet or cockerel. Later, when you do know for sure which it is we would appreciate you letting us know so that we can add that to the pictures.

Also .. it will help us enormously if you can download (or upload?) your pictures to the general photobucket site. Here's the link...

We can pull the photos off of this threads, of it it's easier to post them here that's not a problem.

    Thanks for the great photos!
