Help! Welsummer or Americauna??

    Anyone know what type of hen this is? I was told maybe Americauna.. I don't know the age but she's at least 7 months and has not produced any eggs yet..

    Someone else suggested she may be a welsummer...

    That's a Brown Leghorn. Ameraucanas have pea combs, not single combs, so it's not an Ameraucana. Also, Welsummers have a dual-purpose "build" and red earlobes, which your bird does not have.

    Wow! I'll have to look that up. I'm going to try to post an up close picture. She is not friendly, she is very flighty too!
