Welcome to BYC. It may be lash egg material from salpingitis or inflammation of the oviduct. Can you cut it in half to see what is inside?

Yes, that might ruin your dinner. Since she has not been laying, salpingitis may be more likely. Sometimes, hens lay weird eggs that look all sorts of ways, shell-less, some with tails, and sometimes like a red blob. Those usually have a yolk. Lash egg material is usually beige or putty colored, with the same material inside that might resemble cooked egg layers. This egg material can be deposited inside the abdomen, may be inside the oviduct causing it to become enlarged, or sometimes it comes out the egg tract and may be seen in the bedding or a nest.

That’s exactly what it is. But she’s so young! She’s not even a year old yet.😢
