Hi everyone
I’m new to hatching eggs.
Got a batch of I Runners. First one hatched on day 27 (completely fine and healthy) now on day 31
The other 3 I can’t see any movement. Done float test and all floated below air sac level but no movement.
Taken pics, tell me what you think. Can still see tiny veins I think in one.
They were completely fine before lock down.

Hatching duck eggs will give you fits for the first few times. I had good luck opening the bator at least once a day and giving a good water mist over the eggs. Like mama came in from a swim and settled back in. I also gave them a little cool down time each day or so. This gave me great hatch rates. Also make sure your gauges are correct and calibrated that can really mess a hatch up. I started using the govees that Bluetooth to my phone and wish I had these from the beginning. I get nearly 100% rates with my turkey eggs. I did alot of research on duck eggs after my first hatch attempts because I was failing miserably but these few changes made a big difference. Also I'm in south Alabama and I only do dry incubation my incubators stay around 30 to 50 percent and I only raise it for lockdown.

I did the whole mist thing once a day but sadly must not of made any difference - well apart from with my 1 hatched one.
It’s very frustrating isn’t it.
The whole process became a massive hobby (and obsession haha) over the 31 days.
I can’t wait to get my next batch but I’ll do plenty more research before I do :)
