My aunt gave us a flock of 7 hens, belonged to deceased boy friend no one else wanted the the 7 girls. She did not know what the girls were only that they were getting blue eggs from one or 2. I will give what we think they are some more in site would be great and I know some may be mixed breads.

While it does appear to be the case this is not *that* unusual with SLW -- while it is outside the breed standard, and they are *supposed* to be rose combed, single combs do crop up now and again, especially in lines where breeding is not being done very selectively as would appear to be the case given the overall quality of the markings, etc of this particular bird.
