Help with breed and gender-please

Agreed 100% with Bantamlover. The white pullet looks like a plymouth rock to me.
Good, I wanted to get a few different varieties and see what I preferred. I think she is a pretty bird.

I'm certainly not infallible. I would be interested to know for sure. Let us know down the road how she develops and what color of egg she lays. Thanks.

I was told that I was purchasing an Americauna. What traits in my bird make the grey cockerel an EE? ...just trying to learn and can't find it online.

A easter egger should have a pea comb and little feather tufts on its face. They also have slate (dark gray) legs. They can be any color but usually have long straight tails.

Ameraucanas are purebred fowl that are recognized in three varieties, the varieties are black, blue, blue wheaten, brown red, buff, silver, wheaten, and white.

Araucanas come in five colors; black, black breasted red, golden duckwing, silver duckwing, and white.

Easter eggers come in virtually any color, although if you look through the what breed and gender is this section there are some common colors.

All ameracaunas have beards and muffs, while only some easter eggers do.

Aracaunas have ear tufts, and they are rumpless.

Easter eggers can have beards and muffs ( always come together ) or they can be clean faced. I 've yet to see a easter egger with ear tufts.

Basically you have to look at the over all bird.

Hope this helps.

Once you know what they look like it's pretty easy to tell.
