Hi, I have a hen or rooster not sure which that I'm thinking is a white Leghorn. We were told its a hen but I'm not positive. If it is a rooster I have never heard him crow. Can you tell what gender it is and also what breed? Thanks.

I didn't even think to check for eggs but my daughter started yelling there's a chicken egg this morning. It came as a shock to all of us. We have only had these chickens for about 4 months and they were only about a month old when we got them.

Then they should be laying. Most chickens lay between 4-6 months old.
