Hi Guys! I have a chook that I am not sure of gender or breed, I believe it is a HE but would really love it to be a SHE can people who know something about sexing chicks tell me if its a girl or boy and breed? It was born on 29/09/14 (about 5 weeks and 4 days old now). I think it is either orpington, australorp or maran? (when I purchased I was told its a Barred rock-the seller was a newbie too)

Can't help you on breed, but sure looks like you were right about it being a cockerel. Oddly colored feet.

@Citychick11Thanks for that, but we don't have Jersey Giants in New Zealand. So it cannot be a Jersey Giant. Sorry I forgot to mention I'm located in New Zealand.

It may also be a Black Australorp.
