Hi, I'm new around here. Well, I am new to chicks. I acquired a few grown hens last year, but I just bought some babies 2 days ago. I think the communication between the guy and DH was off because they said they are 3 weeks old, I'm guessing more?
I'll try to post the best pics of them I can. They are very skittish and didn't want to pose! LOL
I'm not sure on the breed of these, or their sex. So if you have a clue please enlighten me! Thanks soooo much!!

FWIW the guy we bought them from told me assuming I have Girls, the white ones will lay blue or green eggs, and the reds will lay brown...from what I gathered from him they were 2 different breeds. I dunno..he was kinda hard to follow. lol

1, 2, and 3 are boys, 4 I think is a girl. I'm not sure on breeds, probably a crossbred with Barred Rocks, RIRs, and maybe some other breeds thrown in. They look to be about 4-5 weeks old, maybe more. And what is the black stuff around their eyes and on their face? They might need to be dusted and given a bath to get any mites and other bad stuff off them.
