Ok i got these "girls" from the feed store back in late April/May, they were all suppose to be leghorn pullets!! but the one i now belive is a roo, he was late to feather was bald for the longest time, first to get comb and wattles, and is now bigger then my giant jersey hens at 4-5 months old, taller then there 5 gallon feed bucket. so can you guys tell me what you think ,boy/girl? and what breed you think? remember "she" was suppose to be leghorn. o ya other intresting fact, he/she gets beat up by all the other chickens except the other 2 i bought her with, they all group together, but my other girls all pick on her/him more then the little two!! o and no crowing, and no eggs from any of them yet.

I think you have 2 female leghorns and a male white rock. There would be no other way to explain the size discrepency. The big one is all boy.!!

I have banty leghorns and the girls look a lot like that, and the boys are really not much bigger then them.

that really sucks cause i had not gotton any roos yet cause i hadn't made a decision on what breed i wanted, whats sucks even more is that I dont have any white rock hens, so all the eggs will be crosses. I knew i should have ordered from a hatchery!!! ( thats what i get for getting chickeee fever!!
So are the leg horn pullets bantams because i didnt what bantams?
