    Hello,

I have a two day old chick that started out with normal feet. This evening I noticed that his toes are curled under and in. He is hobbling around like that now.

Background: During hatching, this chick needed help. It had zipped around the egg when the incubator malfunctioned and I found it at 112 degrees! The membrane was tight on its body with only the head free. I washed and dried it (twice) and gave it chick booster until it became active. It is definitely the smallest chick, but has been active and fine for two days.

Any ideas on why it would be having issues like this now? Suggestions to help its feet?

    Thanks.

You can try correcting curled toes by taping them (links below) and providing Vitamin B2(Riboflavin).
