HELP with coop door!!! A.S.A.P.

My DH and I are working on the coop and are having a great debate on how large the door for the chickens to go in and out of should be. HELP!!! I think it needs to be taller. How tall does a door need to be? The width I think will be fine, the the length however...

Mine is 12'' square and they handle it just fine.

When we built our coop their door wasn't very big. We made it about 12"x12" not very tall or long, ened up having to make a seperate rampb/c DH wanted to be the MAN.

hope that will help. They actually love the little door alot better than if I leave the main door open.

Thanks! I've just told him. He's not happy, but you know... I just wanted to make sure the chickens could get in and out when they got bigger. I figured it would be harder to go back AFTER the outside of the coop was finished! I know he will be glad when this is all over with!
