A lager comb is one way to indicate a rooster. Is that what you mean by bumby?

Chick two is an Easter Egger cockerel--that looks like a modified pea comb to me. Chick one looks like a pullet so far, by the comb. However, comb development is not a very good way to sex EEs when they're young.

Here's an example of an EE cockerel with a modified pea comb like that one, but a few weeks older:

I could be wrong, but both look like pullets.
