Help with ducklings

We have 6 ducks. 4 Pekins and 2 Runners. 1 male (a Pekin) and 5 are female. We recently had some eggs hatch and I'm curious about their coloring. We have 12 ducklings. 6 are all yellow (2 that look to be crested) and 6 that are black and yellow. Our Runners are beige and white. We didn't expect to see black and yellow. Is this from the Pekin/Runner mix? Do Pekins have some recessive gene that would make them this color? Or something else? Just curious... Thanks!

Our runner drake has a lot of recessive genes that show up in hatches from time to time. Also, from what I understand the Pekin white covers up many recessive genes. Your “muttlings”are cute.

They are adorable. @Texag87 and I have hatched lots of pekin mixes, mostly descendants of his pekin. The last batch I got a mostly black duck. Your babies look like they are going to be blue bibbed. So pretty
