Does anyone have information on the documents needed for NPIP certification in Michigan? About how long does certification take? How much can I expect to pay for it (our flock is about 30-40 birds)? I've contacted the state vet here, but I had to leave a message and am waiting for them to call back. I can't seem to find any information on it online.

Did you ever find out any information on this. I have been trying to look it up and have had no luck. I haven't contacted the state vet yet but will be shortly.

I'm a Certified Salmonella Pullorum Tester in the State of Michigan. I only test on behalf of a club that I belong to that sponsors a few fur and feather swaps and raises money for 4-H. I have heard that some people will charge about $0.75 per bird plus travel.

I would contact Tina Moreno at 517-241-4904 or [email protected] for information.

Both my husband (Iamfivewire) and myself are certified NPIP testing agents for pullorum. Usual cost is $1.00 per bird and if you live far enough away, we may add bit on for gas to travel.

We are in the Lansing area.

See our contact information in my signature line.
