    Hello everyone,

I am not sure if my brooder setup is right. It will house 10 ducklings and 2 goslings.I have tried to upload photos, but my phone won't let me. The link has a video that goes over everything.

    Thanks,
    Aaron Burton

It says you will have them in this for the first week? right. It's a nice brooder but about a week maybe as long as you can keep them in there they grow super fast and will be jumping out of this setup. It's amazing what good escape artists they are lol.

One week is all. They will be in am outdoor brooder after that. Atleast 50 square feet. Their final house will be roughly 120 square feet

Your first brooder looks good. Just be sure to count heads daily to make sure no one is missing. What breeds are you getting?
You say out door brooder will it have heat ?

Yes, it will have a heatlamp in that is set to maintain 90-94 degrees. I still need to add hardware cloth to the outside.
I'll be getting 2 buff geese (male/female pair), 7 cayugas (1 drake, 6 females) and 3 hyrid layers (straight run)

Well then your all set, please post pics when they get to you after they are settled in. There is also info in the learning center. Covers all poultry.
