HELP!

    i have a science fair project almost due!
    can anyone think of a project idea involving chickens?

    Do a project that talks about the embryonical development. Go step by step! Just make sure you do a project that doesn't hurt the chicks at all.

    You could do one on what type of food your chickens prefer. Or even a chart of some kind labeling the parts of a chicken and how they produce eggs. Another one could be the benefits of having chickens, what they do for people. I'd better stop. If I think of more I will post. What grade are you in? I teach 4th. [​IMG]

    How about the difference in free range and battery hens? Yolk color, caloric content, health, hormones etc...

    if its a presentation, when i had to do one i showed how to take care of baby chicks. had a diagram and brought live chicks in for everyone to see. got an A+!!!!!

    You could debunk common myths about raising chickens:

    You need a rooster to get eggs!

    Hens don't crow.

    Brown hens lay brown eggs and white hens lay white eggs.

    etc...
