:eek: I HEARD THAT YOU CANT PUT CHICKENS WITH DUCKS WHY? I ONLY HAVE 2 OF EACH BOTH MALE AND FEMALES. IF ITS ONLY TWO OF EACH WILL THAT BE OK?

Ducklings are messier then chicks, so if you did put them together, you would need to clean the brooder a lot more than you would've with just plain chicks. Also, ducklings need to swim and they would get water everywhere while they swam. You're chicks might catch diseases and die if they live with wet, messy ducks. I personally wouldn't do it...but I'm no expert. If you totally clean the shavings a few times a day, I think you can put them together.

If you don't put them in the same brooder, you can put the two separate brooders next to each other so cleaning and feeding will be easier.

Yes, Ducks are way too messy and wet for chicks. You will not be able to keep the chicks dry and they will then get ill. I tried it for about 2 days myself. It was MUCH better when I separated them.
