    Hi everyone
I really need some advice, pretty new to all this had my girls for 4 months now all been going great till 2 days ago my dog attacked jean [IMG] luckily i managed to get to her just in time, her neck is almost totally bare of feathers no puncture wounds etc or blood just what looks like very sore skin i have seperated her from the rest of the flock and kept her in a warm quite and darkened area, cleaned all her neck and applied antiseptic cream she is very subdued which i assume is shock she is drinking water from me through a syringe and has had a few tiny nibbles of some grapes, really what i want to know is have i done everything right and is there anything you can suggest, i am worried now the area is going to get infected,
So sorry for rambling on but it is really worrying me and i dont have any other friends with chickens to ask advice thanks for listening

If she has abrasions on her neck you could get some BlueKote and put on her. It's an antiseptic and is blue in color. Your hands will be too if you get any on them.
