Any oil will kill lice. Problem is, won't kill the eggs. Will also kill fleas - coats their air holes and suffocates them.

    Here's a few more:

Baking soda can be used instead of shampoo - 1 T baking soda sprinkled on the crown and nape of wet hair and scrubbed in, rinse with normal tap water, then rinse again with a mix of apple cider vinegar and water will leave hair clean and shiny and coating-free. If you get soap buildup on your hair, this works great to strip it off.

Crumpled aluminum foil + a bit of veg oil + a drop of soap works a treat to take burned stuff off pots and pans.

Cream of tarter + lemon juice mixed to a paste works to take tarnish off silver.

Crumpled newspapers, dry, clean windows better than windex and you don't get high off the fumes.

Toothpaste will take scratches off glass, but don't use on plastic.
