Hen’s feathers not growing back after five months?

In late December, my salmon faverolles hen was attacked by a ringtail while I was in the yard. I chased it away and she was unhurt besides two fistfuls of feathers torn out of her back. It’s now late April and there is still no sign of feather regrowth, just two patches of bare skin on her back. Will they grow back when she molts? Or is this some kind of skin/follicle damage and they won’t grow back? Note: there was a small amount of blood when the feathers were pulled out.

Could have damaged folicals but most of the feathers should grow back in time you could try giving her some high protein treats like scrambled eggs. But chickens use protein for both egg and feather production that's why they don't usually lay when molting so those feathers will take a lot longer to grow in then they would during molting. Make sure other hens aren't pecking the bare areas too as this could lead to further injuries
