Hen behaving like a roo? She won't shut up!

One of our older RSL hens, Drumstick, has begun behaving in ways that I think are very roo-ish. She bawks almost constantly while patrolling the yard, becoming even louder when she hears a crow, raven or hawk (or sees a cat). She has even developed spur bumps! Is this normal? How can I get her to shut up? FWIW she and her sister Crockpot are on their way to the stew pot as soon as the young man who will process them is ready for them. But in the meantime she is one annoying loudmouth!

Do you have a picture or two? I think you posted your own solution about the noise, though, so maybe ask the processor if he's ready yet?

I will post a pic later today, but there is no doubt she is not actually a roo. She laid huge eggs every day for almost 18 months. I spoke to the processor a few days ago and he is still growing out his meat birds....he wants to just do our two with his batch so as to only have to set up his equipment once, which I totally understand.
