Hen breathing with mouth open/yellow diarrhea

I know this post is very old (from 2020 and its now 2022) but I had a parrot that died from liver problems. He ended up dying. The vet mentioned that he had a seizure at the end. I asked him if my parrot knew what was happening and he told me by the time he had a seizure that he was already dead, it was just his nerves going haywire. I also had a hen to pass not long ago. I had her confined inside. I heard a lot of flapping and commotion and ran in to check on her. She was dead and I figured that when she died she must have had a seizure the same way my parrot did. So maybe this can help you or others feel better if this happens, that I think the seizure comes after they die. And that it's just the body going haywire. I know it gives me a sense of peace thinking that the seizure is a result of the body stopping and not the other way around.
