Hen broody 2 weeks - Can I still give her eggs?

I have an Americauna who has been broody for about two weeks. We've been working on an expanded coop and were not quite ready to get new chicks. But, do I still have time to order eggs and let her hatch them? I don't know if she'll give up too soon as we didn't get started right away.

First,

It would be okay to give her eggs now, but you would be taking a small chance. Then again you are always taking a chance with a broody. She'll probably stay on the nest without giving up, her health is the main risk. I say go for it! Just watch her for any health problems. Good luck!
