Im new to owning chicken... Just picked up my first 4 juvenile pullets last Saturday (7months old). I have a coop with an attached run...I lock up the run at night but leave the coop door open so in the mornings they can come out to get to their food/water. Tonight its 10pm I just went to take my dogs out for the night & I noticed one of my girls out in the run (I think eating). She was down in the run area for a minute then went back into the coop. I live in the suburbs so its not pitch black but there is no lights right by their area.
I thought that they couldn't see at night/in the dark?

Absolutely normal. They have done studies of course, and that is typical behavior.
