Hen died last night, was trembling, why?

I gathered eggs last night and noticed an older Barred Rock hen setting low on the coop floor, droopy head and trembleing. She let me pick her up and set her next to the waterer, but kept trembleing never stopping. As I figured, she was dead this morning. Any ideas why she had the trembles? None of the others have any symptoms.

Cold maybe? I wouldn't imagine why though...

Could it have been a seizure?

Maybe she was just old and her time was up.

I think she was 3.5-4 years old. Very nice looking hen,What is the life expectancy of a laying hen? It could be she was just too old. It was ok temperature yesterday, and should of been real comfortable.
