My old hen did a poop just inside the back door of our house so I got some paper and started to mop it up. My young goldline rushed up unexpectedly and snatched the paper from my hand and ran off with it. She was so fast I just did not see her coming. She soon left it under her favourite bush when she discovered it was not food.

Chickens are so funny sometimes.
We have a big issue with the chickens eating our cat food...we even bough a cheap bag of cat food to throw out for the chickens..

I've been mugged by feathered thieves, too.

My chickens constantly mug the cats. I can't feed them with the chickens awake. Else they go peck their faces and steal all the food. And these cats are feral hunters. Couldn't touch the cat if I wanted to.
