I lost one of my big girls, a buff brahma, today. Her name was Brigid and she was 3 years, 2 months old. She had been battling egg peritonitis for more than six months. I believe it was a combination of that and the excessive heat that finally took its toll. She fought a hard battle.

Losing them is so hard...when they've been fighting for a while...that's a different kind of pain. I'm so very sorry. In the least, she's whole again and no longer in pain.

    [IMG] My sincerest condolences.
