Hen lost its voice

One of our hens that is always talking.. has lost her voice? This happened a month ago too. She has weird breathy sound. She still is very vocal and as always nevers stop talking. She seems to be acting perfectly fine but I am worried it could be a sign of a problem. Any suggestions?

I would guess she's got a slight respiratory problem. Many times they improve without any intervention.

If it gets worse you may need to find a vet for treatment.

Otherwise I would make sure your coop is well ventilated as chickens need good air exchange especially during the heat of summer.

Thank you! She's running around our yard during the day so she's getting lots of fresh air I will keep an eye on her
