Hen might be walking funny for a while :)

    Our hens have been laying normal size eggs for a while now. Then today went out to collect the eggs, and found this whopper. [​IMG]

    Can't even get the lid shut on the egg carton. [​IMG]

    What did it weigh? Got one like that 2 wks ago and hen laid as per usual the next day! They not as woosy as us human girls!

    One of my girls lays an egg like that almost every day! They are always double yolkers. And she has always laid them that size - just shortly after she started laying. I really should have taken a picture of one of her giant eggs next to the tiny little green egg my bantam laid for the first time the other day.
