Hello,

One of our hens did not leave the coop for about 3 hours this morning until she finally decided she wanted some water. She is new to the flock and hasn't warmed up to us yet, but she let us pick her up which she has never done willingly. She does not react when things touch her, she won't eat her food or mealworms (even though she's always had the best appetite of the 3) all she will do is drink, and her poop is watery and not much of it. I added electrolytes to the water and a very small amount of Corid. We are new to caring for hens and I am at a loss of what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

UPDATE:
It appears her chest is bulging out more than the other hens, I am suspecting an impacted crop-let me know if this sounds possible. I am researching how to empty her crop now

UPDATE #2:
Originally we thought it was a sour crop because it feels like a water balloon. However, we emptied her crop and she went to drink a lot of water and it ballooned right back up. The other birds have been eating and drinking and theirs' do not feel like this. Now we suspect an impacted crop, we have given her water with ACV in it, and are giving her olive oil with regular massages every two hours. Haven't been able to find an available vet until next Saturday, worried that will be too late.
