My cat got outside this AM and tormented the chickens for a bit before I grabbed her and put her inside.
I noticed a few feathers (nothing too much). But I also noticed that my ameraucana looks Luke the tip of her beak "peeled off" and looks bloody but not bleeding.
I've seen her scrape her beak across the concrete on purpose.
Right now she's barely eating from what I can tell and is VERY lethargic. She's out in the yard now and standing there doing nothing when she is normally one of the most aggressive foragers.
She also just started laying again and she JUST laid an egg.
Could that be the lethargy? Any concerns about the beak? TIA..
