Hen not laying! Help!

So, we bought a buff Orpington hen about four or six months ago from someone. He said she was about a year old and was laying almost an egg a day. I know he wasn't lying about her age because we bought two other birds with her and they lay wonderfully. She doesn't lay at all though and I don't know what's wrong with her...

If she has never layed for you, she could have a defective shell gland or be an internal layer. If se's been layig and quit, it could be fore several reasons: about to go broody or to molt, under some sort of stress, just simply too hot, a disease, etc.

She layed the first day we got her and then quit so maybe she's hot. We live in Florida and it's usually around 95 degrees...
