Hen on top of the hen house

I have only two hens, a White Rock and something else that folks here have identified as a NH Red or a Production Red. Tonight I went out to check on them and found my red hen ostracized on top of their house. Up until now they are always cozy inside together. I had noticed a drop in egg production this week and now I'm wondering if it has to do with the red hen not letting the white hen lay in their shared nest box. With only two I thought they would be ok with a good sized dog house like hen house.

She might just be up there because she likes to roost up high.

They do have other roosts in their wire enclosure.

Tomorrow, in daylight, I will go check if she has dropped any eggs off this precipice.
