Hen or cockerel?

Okayy so today I found one of my hens.. mounting another hen. I called her Onee-san (old sister in japanese) so now I don’t know if I should reconsider and change the name to Onii-san (big brother)

I took a couple pictures, one alone and another with the cockerel that I know for sure it’s a boy.

that white one is definitely a male, and the brown one is a male.

thank you very much, guys. But how do you know so easily? Is it the size? The head? I had only seen males that have brown - green colours, so I’m pretty much clueless when it comes to other beeeds ^^’

they have long saddle feathers, and an easier way to tell is by looking at their neck feathers
