Hen or Cockerel?????

    Hello!

    Please help, I can't work out if this orpington is a hen or cockerel? Any ideas anyone? Thank you!

    It is hard to tell and im having the same problem with one of mine,,,this does look like a rooster due to feathers around neck and the comb,,,but doesn't have long feathers by the tail

    Agreed. Looks like a rooster, you can see the neck hackles. How old is it?

  5. ROOSTER! He is getting some odd Orpington colors on his neck. He is very pretty!

    Age always helps to determine gender, but this bird looks male to me.
