I have a few chicks (my second batch - I am a newbie) that are two weeks old. The EEs and the Silkie all have feathered out on their wings and are showing tail feathers - the bantam barred plymouth rock is still pretty much all fluff. She is not much smaller than the silkie - but I am wondering if BPRs (bantam ones) maybe feather out more slowly than the other breeds in this batch or is it an early indicator that this one might be a rooster? I ordered all hens from MPC - don't know how high their accuracey rate runs so I'm including that just as additional info. Any ideas?
