hen or roo? no crow yet?

    UFC looks differnent from my other hens that i have. i dont know if he/she is just a fast grower or he is just a rooster? he/she hasnt crowed yet(which he should have crowed a long time ago) so i think it might be a hen.
    here are pics of UFC(he/she) and Speckles (hen) so you can compare them to each other, btw UCF fights with everyone!!!

    p.s. if you can tell me the breed that would be great

    haha he got his name from wanting to fight with every chick we ever had no matter the size

    UFC is a Roo. You can see the roo feathers all over his saddle and neck.

    They look like silver laced cochins. UFC definitely looks like a roo to me.

    thats what i thought but still no crow, do all roosters crow or is he still to young? he is 4 1/2 months old

    UFC is 100% roo [​IMG] it's good he's not crowing yet but he will do soon, I had a roo that only crowed at 3am in the morning and had no idea he was doing this till the neighbour complained! my bedroom is on the other side of the house to the chicken coop so I couldn't hear him, maybe this is what yours is doing, either way crow or not he's still a roo 4 1/2 months is still pretty young though he's beautiful:)
