hi this is ninja my australorp she/he is appox 8 weeks old. sometimes it looks like she is trying to crow but no sound at all lol.. i hope its a hen

Sorry... For 8 weeks old and a red comb like that, cockerel. (btw... I think Ninja actually looks younger than 8 weeks -- all of mine were nearly fully feathered by then. No baby fuzz. I'd say closer to 6 or 7 weeks.)
 
aww well thanks, so if it is younger like you think then its deff more likley to be a roo.. dammit haha

Here's my first group of pullets at 7-8 weeks of age - they were fully feathered by 7 weeks:

i might have to take him back next week. as for age i got him on 22 oct and the farmer said she/he was about 4 weeks then, she had wing feathers and thats about it when i picked it up. so unsure of age now and cant keep a roo where i live
