Hen or Roo? These birds tricked me bad.

    I promised what I thought was a hen to another BYCer but this birds sibbling, who I thought was a hen, just crowed. What do ya all think? They are quick lousy pics but it was all I can get of them right now.

    The first two I think are roos, the last one I'm not sure... maybe another roo

    Apart from the red hen in there, they all look like roos to me.

    Ack. Thanks for confirming it everyone. I'm hoping the gray one is a hen and gave her to the other BYCer. Now I've got three roos to deal with. Oh well.

    In the 2nd picture, the front one, the one on the right and the EE in the back are all roosters. The last picture is also a rooster.

    All boys except maybe the one with its head down in the middle of the second picture that only the tail feathers are shown.

    There are two hens in those pictures. In the first picture the red chicken appears to be a hen. In the second picture the black chicken in the middle with her butt sticking up in the air also appears to be a hen. The rest look like roos.
