So these guys are freshly 3 weeks old! It was my first hatch, so it was pretty exciting. I know it can be hard to tell this young but, I'm thinking the black one is a roo? I have 8 all together, and the 2 black ones I have already having growing combs, and absolutely no tail feathers. All of my other chicks have wing, tail, and starting to get back feathers. The dad of all of them is a Silkie/Polish cross, so I dont know if that has anything to do with it, and all of the moms are brahmas except the 2 black ones mom is a bantam cross (looks like a black sexlink), and the white ones mom is a silkie/cochin bantam cross.
