Hen or roo?

I think this one is about 9 to 10 weeks old. The last I got it from a couple weeks ago thought it was a hen but I am starting to wonder. Because it was a couple weeks ago I know it can be hard to tell. She told me it was a Maran.

Probably male. But, any chance of better pics with better light/background to better see saddle area, legs. Take pic from full-on side. While the chicken is standing against a light background -I’ve had success with laundry basket on its side to contain chick and provide plain background. It is hard to see saddle area and feathers.
