[IMG] 5 month old barred rock X auarcaunna. Sorry it's so dark...but I have no idea the gender, I thought it was a hen, bc we have a auracauna roo that's the same age and he crows, this one doesn't. Any idea?

A clearer photo would definitely help, but the profile of it looks like a rooster.

I tried to brighten some up a little, light isn't very good in the barn for picture taking I guess....he or she hardly ever gets off the roost except to eat or drink. The older hens pick on it but my rooster doesn't pay any mind to it. Shouldn't it be crowing already? Like I said I have one the same age that is defiantly a roo, he started crowing at almost 2 months old

Looks like a cockerel to me. The reason he is not crowing is because he is a subordinate.

Ok, that's what I was thinking but I wanted other opinions before I decided if I wanted to sell him, I don't need 3 roosters lol. Although he is very calm and kinda pretty.

Which parent was barred? If the hen, it's a sex-link and male. I do think it's a cockerel either way, but agree a better pic would help.

If the hen was barred, and the rooster wasn't, you really don't need a better pic. That cross will give sex linked birds, and the males are barred.
