I'm afraid based on my recent thread asking for help sexing my polish, the polish is definitely a roo. My 2 pullet's crests (one is a frizzle) look much rounder and softer and there are no wattles at all at 12 weeks.

Your Barred Rock is definitely a cockerel. I'm not as sure on the Polish, but am thinking cockerel.

Your Barred Rock is definitely a cockerel--the light coloring and larger comb are classic Barred Rock rooster signs. I'm also thinking that the Polish is a cockerel, sine Polish pullets usually have more even coloring and a rounder crest.

Did you hatch these birds yourself? The Polish is a definite male, you can see saddle feathers and the very spiky crest. The barred bird is male also, but looks more like 3 months. He's either younger than stated or just behind developmentally.

No, my friend hatched them. Both right around the 29th of June. For now, we'll just wait and see. We did get our first egg tonight, I suspect from one of the 2 Cuckoo Marans. I'm anxiously watching for more, since we have 7 hens that are laying!
